About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Mexico.
This role is adecuado for a detail-oriented and proactive professional with strong experience in accounting, tax compliance, and team leadership.
You will play a key role in managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and delivering high-quality financial services to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support accounting operations, including oversight of assigned accounting team membersPlan and prepare financial reports (e.g., Athos, ITS, Cash Flow)Ensure timely execution of deliverables in accordance with quality standardsPrepare, review, and maintain accurate accounting records and financial statementsEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards and legal requirementsPrepare and review monthly and annual tax filings for clients and local authoritiesCoordinate with external parties (e.g., translators, notaries) for regulatory procedures (RNIE, IMSS, SAT, etc.)Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliationsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies identified during reconciliationsProcess payroll and calculate related taxes (ISN, IMSS, Infonavit,



Fonacot)Prepare and submit tax returns to SAT (monthly and annual)Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and timely service deliveryProvide guidance and clearly communicate accounting concepts to team membersSupport additional tasks as required by managementRequirementsSpanish (Native) and English (Basic)5–10 years of relevant accounting experienceBachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fieldStrong knowledge of Mexican accounting and tax regulationsExperience preparing financial statements and tax filingsExperience with payroll processing and related tax calculationsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsTeam leadership and communication skillsWe want to meet you!
