POSITION OBJECTIVEThe Sr.Composite Engineer will be the onsite Molding Process and Materials Expert to Launch New Platforms, Processes and/or Materials and Optimize the Quality, Productivity and Cost for the fabrication of Fiberglass Hulls & Decks for Personal Watercraft.The Sr.Composite Engineer will be supporting the Production Team in delivering a Safe, Quality and Efficient product to our Internal & External Customers.In addition, the Sr.Composite Engineer is a technical reference and participates in increasing the level of knowledge in CFC.
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:Participate in the evaluation and development of new processes, materials & suppliers with the Product Engineering and Procurement Teams;Work closely with the Product Engineering team to launch new platforms and Optimize the current ones (for the Molding Process mainly);Develop and Monitor the Paint & Structural Repair Procedures;Continuously seek for best practices and potential projects in those fields: Environmental impact, New Product Development, Advanced composites manufacturing, New materials and processes;Participate in Continuous Improvement projects leading to the achievement of CFC vision and objectives;Generate and update Standards related to the "recipe" of our Molding and Repair manufacturing process;Support the Production and Technical Teams in reaching the monthly balanced scorecard objectives, using best practices in problem solving;Develop technical training programs for our professionals, technicians and operators, with Training team;Perform activities related to H&S; department and Top 4 risk analysis;Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the department supervisor.
