Manage storage, receipt, delivery, and continuous improvement projects. Promotes a disciplined operating culture and develops improvement strategies to support business objectives. Work transversally to plan, execute and maintain improvements in business processes.
Key Responsibilities and Main Activities
Responsible for inventory accuracy, execution of cycle counts, and the planning and preparation of the annual physical inventory.
Actively participates in and develops projects focused on reducing operating expenses related to inventory management (Kaizen).
Reviews and coordinates ERP system configurations related to data integrity.
Evaluates local transportation performance, as well as shipping and receiving activities in alignment with shipping windows.
Develops improvement plans based on KPI (dashboard) results.
Ensures compliance with CTPAT & OEA standards.
Manages expense accounts against budget.
Ensures and monitors system transactions to maintain data integrity.
Supervises the proper flow of receiving, storage, picking, and delivery to production through the system.
Reviews cycle count results and recommends immediate actions to ensure inventory accuracy.
Follows up on action plans for continuous improvement, including inventory shrinkage and efficiency.
Manages and adjusts storage capacity for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring personnel safety.
Promotes follow-up on work‑in‑process activities, cut‑off audits, setup scrap, manual scrap, and Kanban processes.
Monitors discrepancies, performs analysis, and executes perpetual inventory adjustments in a timely manner in coordination with the Cost Department.
Identifies potential excess and obsolete inventory and ensures proper disposition in a timely manner according to Corporate guidelines, at least once per year.
Ensures personnel operate under safe conditions and have the necessary equipment to perform their duties.
Validates employee knowledge and assesses departmental training needs.
Experience & Skills
An Industrial or End‑to‑End Degree Required
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position is required
Experience in operations management
Interpretation of plans
Measuring instruments
Customer service
Knowledge of ISO standards
Knowledge of Oracle/365 standard
Knowledge of IATF standards
BASC Procedures
Verbal Skills
English proficiency: Medium‑Advance
