Legal Contracts Manager – Johnson Controls

Responsibilities

Assist and support the review, drafting and negotiation of agreements, including sales, distribution, service, procurement, and construction contracts in accordance with the company's policies. Provide support to the law department and business unit personnel that manage independent channel sales distribution networks (e.g., transactional support; contract management; engagement and disengagement of external sales partners). Manage the contract review workflow tool and perform research and analysis for decision‑making, presenting concise synopses. Demonstrate a forward‑looking "can do" orientation and develop a deep understanding of the businesses they support.

Qualifications

- Law degree and a minimum of +3 years of commercial transactions experience, supporting multinational organizations in the review and negotiation of English language contracts.
- Fluent in English, verbally and written.




- Effective oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Process‑driven, detail oriented, self‑motivated, and analytical.
- Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills and a client‑service focus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with specific experience in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and database creation and maintenance.
