In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in optimizing client recoveries bymanaging, reducing, and resolving complex lien issues, ensuring each client receives the highest possible net compensation.This position is ideal for professionals who are persuasive communicators, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where precision and follow-through are key.Responsibilities:Review and analyzemedical records, billing statements, and insurance documentationto identify lien claims and potential reductions.Communicate andnegotiate directly with medical providers, insurance companies, and lienholders, includingMedicare, Medicaid, ERISA, and private insurers.Preparedetailed lien summaries,
settlement statements, and net recovery breakdownsfor attorney review.Maintain accurate and organized records of all lien communications, negotiations, and resolutions.Collaborate closely with attorneys and case managers to ensure all liens are resolved before settlement disbursement.Follow up on outstanding lien negotiations to ensure timely case closure and client satisfaction.Ensurecompliance with federal and state lien resolution regulationsand firm protocols.Track and report on lien status updates and negotiated savings weekly.RequirementsMinimum 2+ years of experienceas aParalegal or Lien Negotiator, ideally within apersonal injury law firm.Strong knowledgeof medical liens, subrogation rights, and reimbursement obligations.Familiarity with personal injury law, settlements, and disbursement processes.Exceptional negotiation and communication skillswith a professional, client-centered approach.Detail-orientedwith strong organizational and documentation abilities.Comfortable workingindependently in a remote, fast-paced environment.Tech-savvyand experienced with case management software (e.g., MyCase, Filevine, or similar).
