Job DetailsLocation: EL SALTO, JA *****Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $29,****** - $33,****** per monthJob Shift: DayGeneral Job DescriptionThe SR Human Resources Generalist will act as a partner and ally to the Human Resources Manager by providing support to keep the MASS Precision teams running smoothly.
The overall objectives are to help ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, provide assistance regarding the achievement of HR goals, and deliver support to employees at our Guadalajara facility.
This position provides expertise in employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition and management, compensations/benefits, etc.
The HR Generalist will initiate and grow strategic relationships with functional and operational leaders through coaching, consultation, influence, and problem solving to successfully execute organizational goals.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRecruitmentHelps to facilitate recruitment by assigned building for Direct and Indirect employees.Ensures hiring processes are adequate by completing checklist for IL & DL candidates.OnboardingHelps to facilitate onboarding process by assigned building for IL & DL employees.Helps to facilitate ******** evaluations for IL & DL employees by assigned building.Employee FilesArchives and organizes employee files.Maintains a correct record of staff incidents.Archives files of employees who are terminated.PayrollProvides attention and follow‐up to employees regarding incidents (paid leave, vacations, disabilities, delays, etc.).
Supports employees for initial point of contact on loan applications and Christmas bonus advances.Generates employee incident file for payroll and remits for processing.Ensures all employees receive a correct payment and have access to their payroll receipt by facilitating request received.Employee BenefitsEnsures employees receive their complete benefits on time and resolves any doubts (Medical expenses, gasoline, food coupons, etc.).
TerminationsHelps facilitating termination process of employees by following the current procedure.Explains to employees their termination payments and ensures it is correct prior to the meeting with the Conciliation Centers.Social SecurityFollows‐up on employees' disabilities and filling out ST‐7 forms.Reviews INFONAVIT (Social housing) and the correct application of the discount factor.Validates that employees who apply for or currently have a FONACOT loan receive their discount via payroll.Assists employees on doubts regarding social security processes in Mexico: Clinics, medical appointments, etc.Employee Concerns and SupportSupports employees to draft any letter from the company.Receives employee complaints and escalates as necessary.Participates in initiatives to improve employee morale.Legal CasesFollows up on dates of incoming audiences and helps with necessary information and administrative activities as needed.Employee WarningsReceives concerns and escalates as needed.Conducts improvement meetings with the finalized warning.Audits following improvement meeting to ensure continuous improvement and uploads documentation to employee file.Corporate EventsParticipates in the organization of corporate events.Prepares and gives each employee birthday cards and gifts on the exact day of birthday.Monthly ReportsGenerates scorecard and/or departmental updates.Prepares headcount to be shared with the USA HR Team.Sends monthly presentation for Site Manager.EH&SConducts; EH&S; tours at the company's facilities.Plans, organizes,
and executes required drills.Document management and controlResponsible for documenting DL and IL job descriptions; collaborates with leaders for documentation, and registers in system.Workloads and EfficienciesDaily follow‐up on employees' efficiency and corrective actions.TrainingHelps by facilitating HR training with staff including Managers/Supervisors.ComplianceCompliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Helps by facilitating HR training with staff including Managers/Supervisors.Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures.Maintain customer and MASS Quality requirements.Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Contributes to the department's team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Accounting, or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in Human Resources activities.Intermediate English level (Preferred).
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of Mexican Labor Law.Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Epicor experience (preferred).
Microsoft Teams experience (preferred).
Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level across the organization.Ability to commit to a adaptable schedule and prompt arrival to scheduled shifts.Ability to follow verbal instructions.Ability to be cross‐trained in other departments to help with unexpectedly high demands.Required to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.Required to wear PPE when in the production area.Good interpersonal and communication skills; team mentality with the ability to motivate.
