We are currently seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join the Lifeline team. The Human Resources Assistant will support positive employee relations, assist with high-volume recruitment efforts, help deliver a seamless onboarding experience, and support timely and accurate benefits administration. This role plays a valuable part in helping attract top talent, contributing to a positive candidate and employee experience, and supporting day-to-day HR operations. The environment is fast-paced, non-union.

Location: Mexico

Key Responsibilities

- Support full-cycle recruiting for a variety of positions (technical and administrative roles)
- Post job ads, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and guide candidates through the hiring process
- Help maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for high-turnover roles
- Conduct phone/online screens, coordinate interviews, and facilitate candidate communications
- Assist in preparing job offers and support the onboarding/offboarding process
- Help maintain and update HR policies, procedures,



and employee handbooks in compliance with Canadian employment standards and legislation
- Support HR matters such as accommodations, leaves of absence, and workplace investigations, escalating to the HR Manager as needed
- Assist with employee benefits administration and liaise with the benefits provider as needed
- Maintain accurate employee records and help ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
- Support general HR projects as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 0-1 year HR experience with a strong focus on recruiting and onboarding
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment (construction, trades, or service industries preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships across all levels
- Focused attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, results-oriented, analytical thinking
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace is required
- Proficient in English and clear/concise communication is a prerequisite
- Access to reliable transportation for work is an asset
