**About the role**:
The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for the daily, weekly management and execution of the manufacturing supply plan in full. You will be focused on ensuring materials management, escalation and resolution of supply gaps are clearly communicated, escalated, and followed through until completion. At the same time, you will be responsible for the completion of daily/weekly planning monitoring, KPI management and reporting these include attending daily CM meetings, Daily Operations calls, Clean to Build management, reporting and escalation, along with Manufacturing Adherence reports, and root cause analysis of deviation from plan.
You will also be responsible for collaboration and communication with the demand & sales team, linking together with the integrated global supply chain with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels, you will be the focus and point person for the integration and collaboration between Dyson operations, the contract manufacturer and the global supply chain / receipt market, monitoring and maintaining inventory levels and capacity management, maintaining the eyes of the customer operating from group level objective viewpoint, working and driving towards group specific supply targets and inventory levels. Working closely with internal and external parties to ensure supply of materials is in place to satisfy production requirements.
Working closely with CMs, you will be driving the path of continuous improvement,



ensuring all manufacturing plans are delivered on time in full whilst working collaboratively with the integrated global supply chain in developing and creating opportunities for success and continuous improvement, leverage every single available unit of production and delivery to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean to build materials management, deep dive analysis, root cause and issues resolution, optimising manufacturing based on integral network strategy to maximise daily production volume output. Daily/Weekly reporting and communication.
- Daily CM engagement, tracking and monitoring of builds vs. plan, collaboration with Operations team and CM to optimise hourly and daily run rates aligned with Global Supply Chain priorities.
- Monthly Supply Planning Process, review of latest demand and impact to existing supply plans, collaborate and engage with Integrated Global Supply Chain team on allocations and priorities - Drive and manage any change requirements to Supply Plan from W1-W26 (or fixed planning window).
- Prepare monthly analysis of Supply Plan Change for Monthly SRM meeting, setting up and reviewing with Category Leader and Integrated Global Supply Chain team prior to SRM ensuring consensus and alignment of actions and issues.
- Manage and maintain Supply Plan at CM’s with clear priorities and requirements aligned with Dyson Operations, Integrated Global Supply Chain,



based supply profile as decided by Dyson, Push Loading, Pull Loading or Hybrid options aligned with stocking policy agreements, maintaining service levels and global inventory.
- Report weekly Supply Planning performance at CM/Category level for adherence, deltas and understanding root cause or any variances, ensuring delivery targets are maintained.
- Manage and report capacity loading, risks or constraints for tooling and manufacturing facilities.
- Management of Planning systems as required to ensure purchase order management and visibility is maintained at all time through the Supply Chain e.g. convert PR to PO in Kinaxis, release to vendors.
- Maximize Supply potential through all available resources whilst mitigating potential exposure.
**About you**:
- Degree Level (or equivalent) education - APIC’s supply chain management advantageous.
- Relevant working experience in the related field (supply planning/purchasing/inventory management) is required for this position.
- Self-motivated, accurate and highest ethical standards. Prepared to work hard to get the right result for Dyson, be tough yet be fair with our supplier network.
- Able to work under a fast-paced environment and with tight schedules and strict guidelines.
- An analytical thinker and a strong communicator with an eye for detail able to deliver efficient, effective and flexible solutions to meet production requirements. Excellent in materials management.
- SAP and Kinaxis knowledge, with some engineering background will be advantageous.
