Purpose Statement: Responsible for a variety of cost and financial activities for a manufacturing site. Includes but not limited to inventory reporting analysis, variance reporting and driving financial performance improvement, preparation and analysis of site P&L;'s and special projects as assigned.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Determine cost allocations to customer for material labor and fixed cost by using the ABC costing method.
- Financial Statement Preparation; partnering with corporate accounting to ensure key balance sheet and P&L; accounts are properly stated.
- Provide financial analysis by reviewing trial balance and preparing reports in non-financial, user-friendly formats.
- Team Support; providing support to the financial analysts for margin analysis and other general ledger related questions.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Prepare month end journal entries to provide accurate inventory valuation and financial statement information
- Prepare and reconcile month end inventory files
- Monitor and report on aged work orders and work order cycle time
- Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (estimated >10%)
- Additional duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Qualifications:




- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or a Professional Accountancy/finance based qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) is required; a Professional Accountancy qualification is preferred.
- Less than One (1) year of related experience is required; One (1) or more years of related experience is preferred_._
An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
