We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Senior Functional Tester** to join our team in Guadalajara.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios
- Execute test cases to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure prompt resolution of identified issues
- Maintain detailed and organized test documentation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet testing objectives and project deadlines
- Participate in initiatives to improve testing methodologies, tools, and efficiency
**Requirements**:
- Must be located in Guadalajara and available for a hybrid work schedule
- Background in developing and maintaining Test Plans and Test Case Development
- Expertise in Test Strategy development and leading testing teams
- Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, soapUI
- Expertise in web testing and familiarity with testing microservices/distributed systems
- Skills in generating metrics and reports across the SDLC as directed by the team
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Knowledge of SQL and capability to triage technical issues effectively
