- The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data and providing insights to support
decision-making and strategic planning.
The Financial Analyst will also monitor financial trends, prepare financial reports, and collaborate with others to ensure accurate financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Analyze the average unit cost calculated by the system to have a base of validation of the valuation of the cost of the inventories for its registration.
- Determine the unit costs of a new CPO
- Prepare a P & L by area and by line business to review the gross margin.
- Verify the receipt of materials and their variations (cost and quality) to have the reliability of the information entered in the system and the calculation of the cost of the materials.
- Develop, review and analyze the following reports: inventory, production orders, load and certain variations and action plan, prepare a weekly scrap report, capex control.
Establish Standard Costs and Collect Operational Data: Determine the cost of operations by
setting standard costs and gathering operational data to facilitate budgeting and decision-making.
- Guide Cost Analysis Process: Develop and enforce policies and procedures for cost analysis to
ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Prepare Reports and Projections: Create reports and projections based on financial analyses,
providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Identify Financial Status: Compare actual results with plans and forecasts to evaluate the
organization's financial health and performance.
- Conduct Financial Forecasting: Develop financial forecasts, business plans, and conduct variance
analysis to track performance against forecasts.
- Assist in Closing Processes: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to
ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare Financial Analyses: Conduct in-depth analysis and research on financial and cost-saving
performance measures.
Experiência y requisitos
- Degree in accounting or finance, minimum 2 years of work for a manufacturing company. - A minimum of 3 solid years of cost accounting in the manufacturing environment. - Degree in accounting. - Must have a solid experience in cost systems and have excellent analytical skills. Solid understanding of accounting principles. - Experience with Oracle ERP. - Current valid US Visa
