We're looking for PhD-level Biochemists to stress-test and improve advanced AI systems on complex scientific topics — from protein folding and enzyme kinetics to metabolic flux and molecular genetics.

Your domain knowledge will directly influence how AI reasons through life science problems. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background required — just deep biochemistry expertise and sharp analytical thinking.

What You'll Do Design Challenging Problems — Develop advanced biochemistry questions across domains like nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, structural biology, and drug-target interactions to rigorously probe AI performance.

Create Gold-Standard Solutions — Author detailed, step-by-step technical responses that serve as benchmarks for high-level scientific reasoning in AI systems.

Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and quantitative analyses for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and safety.

Refine AI Reasoning — Identify and document specific failure modes — such as stoichiometric errors, stereochemistry mistakes,



or flawed mechanistic reasoning — and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.

Who You Are PhD-level expertise in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field (completed or in final stages)

Strong foundational knowledge in areas such as enzymology, structural biology, cellular metabolism, or bioinformatics

Ability to communicate complex biological and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in writing

Exceptionally detail-oriented when reviewing chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental logic

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment

No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Experience with data annotation, scientific evaluation, or quality assurance workflows

Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST
