**Job responsibilities**
- Develop, test, and debug automated tasks (Apps, Systems, Infrastructure)
- Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents.
- Engage with tools and operations teams to address failure patterns and incidents in Infrastructure Components such as OS and Storage systems
- Develop automation tools for efficient, noiseless alerting, toil, and technical debt
- Align and support regulatory requirements.
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Extensive knowledge in administering, cisco data center/enterprise routers/switches, LAN/WAN networks
- Extensive knowledge in administering, troubleshooting & upgrading Linux Redhat and Windows Server systems.
- Knowledge in Site Reliability Engineering - Design, code, test and deliver software to automate manual operational work.
- Knowledge with backups and restore, SAN and NAS management, Virtual Infrastructure.




- Experience in working with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Python, Bash, Powershell etc.
- Working proficiency in Incident/Problem/Change management process and procedures.
- Ability to host/participate in bridge calls and communicate effectively to large group of individuals at all levels.
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends, automation tools and best practices.
- Experience of working in Agile Methodology.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work well in a diverse environment
- Fluent in English
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Experience in using industry standard monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana etc.).
- Certification in CCNA R&S;, CCPN R&S;, CCNA Voice, CCNA Wireless, or relevant experience.
- Experience in using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools. Build and Release skills using Jenkins, Maven, Git, etc.
- Experience in Observability tools: Splunk, Grafana or similar.
- Experience in Project management.
