**Social Media Manager - ISSCA (International Society for Stem Cell Application)**
ISSCA is looking for a **passionate, strategic, and execution-driven Social Media Manager** to lead and grow our **English-language social media channels**, primarily on **Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter)** and supporting platforms.
Our ambition is to **expand ISSCA’s global community of physicians, clinics, and healthcare professionals** across Latin America and Spanish-speaking markets by delivering **educational, aspirational, and high-impact content** focused on **regenerative medicine, longevity, peptides, stem cells, exosomes, and advanced medical education**.
This role will be responsible for **content publishing, community management, and audience growth**, with a **strong focus on TikTok growth and short-form video performance**. Prior experience growing educational or health-related accounts on TikTok is highly valued.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Create, publish, and optimize **high-engagement, shareable, made-for-social content** (planned, evergreen, reactive, and trend-driven).
- Lead day-to-day management of ISSCA’s English-language channels (Instagram, TikTok, X).
- Drive **TikTok growth** through trend identification, hooks, storytelling, and platform-native execution.
- Execute and maintain the **weekly and monthly social media content calendar**.
- Collaborate closely with ISSCA’s internal teams (marketing, design, video, education) to ensure content is timely, accurate, and on-brand.
- Support **live coverage** of ISSCA events, conferences, certifications, and global summits (reels, stories, short clips, real-time posting).
- Repurpose long-form educational and event content into short-form, localized social assets.
- Contribute **creative ideas and content strategies** during weekly planning calls.
- Assist in localization and adaptation of editorial, scientific, and promotional content for social media.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper coverage of events, launches, and campaigns.




- Ensure all content meets **ISSCA quality, scientific accuracy, and brand standards**.
- Monitor performance metrics and platform insights to optimize reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Stay updated on **industry trends** (regenerative medicine, longevity, medical education) and **social media trends** to identify new opportunities.
**Desired Qualifications**
- Proven interest in **digital content, education, science, or health-related communication**.
- **3+ years of professional experience** managing Instagram, TikTok, and X accounts.
- Strong understanding of **TikTok growth mechanics**, short-form storytelling, and trends.
- Experience working with **educational, medical, wellness, or science-based brands** (highly valued).
- Deep understanding of **Latin American audiences** and English-language digital culture.
- **Native or fluent English** (excellent spelling, grammar, and copywriting skills).
- Strong **English communication skills** (written and spoken) for collaboration with general teams.
- Basic to intermediate **video editing skills** for social media (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
- High attention to detail and ability to proofread and fact-check educational/scientific content.
- Excellent **time management**, ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple campaigns.
- Comfortable giving and receiving feedback with internal teams and external collaborators.
- Familiarity with **social media analytics tools and native insights**.
- Experience with tools such as **Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Google Workspace, Slack/Teams**.
- Willingness to work **occasional evenings or weekends** during global events and launches.
