**Qualifications**:Mechatronics, electrical, electronic, industrial or related engineer.
**Knowledge / Experiencie (Skills)**:
- Professional experience > 5 years
- Have a solid technical background in the construction of energy, gas and fuel storage projects throug engineering review, procedures, regulations, contractual scope and good construction practices.
- Knowledge of relevant national and international standards and codes of good practice.
- Knowledge of U.S. standards (e.g., ANSI, ISA, DIN, ASNT, ACI, AISC, ASME, ASTM, API. CFE).
- Solid knowledge in megaguer testing, continuity testing, high power testing, loop testing, MODBUS testing, matrix system testing (fire and gas, emergency shutdown, process control, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, intrusion suppression and detection, HVAC).

**Responsibilities**
- Carry out pre
- and post-shipment inspections to verify the quality, quantity and packaging of goods, and to ensure that the appropriate documentation is available.
- Supervision and inspection of the project contractor’s works to ensure compliance with engineering documents, contractual requirements, Mexican regulations and good industry practices.
- Preparation of construction progress reports covering all aspects of project implementation.
- Develop inspection and maintenance programmes, inspections and controls, and operational and safety assessments in accordance with applicable national and international standards,



regulations and codes.
- Supervision of construction activities, equipment and materials forming part of the GCN, including the corresponding tests and the commissioning phase.
- Assistance in the review of acceptance and performance tests, commissioning activities and warranty management.
- Review of and support in the preparation of commissioning and operating procedures.
- Supervision of the project contractor’s commissioning activities.
- Review and issuance of comments on REDLINE and AS-BUILT documentation.
- Review and compilation of the documentation required to obtain the necessary certificates/reports from verification bodies.
- Supervision of megger tests, continuity tests, high-voltage tests, loop tests, MODBUS tests and system matrix tests.
- Supervision of electrical and instrumentation duct banks, air ducting, power and control cabling, installation of power and control panels, instrument calibration, receipt of equipment and materials, cable insulation resistance tests, cable continuity tests, cable connections (control and communication), workforce management, and strong decision-making capability.
- Supervise the receipt of instruments and equipment in accordance with data sheets, drawings and specifications, and verify compliance with valid certification prior to release for installation.
- Supervise and validate continuity testing and cable connections for the various systems, equipment, valves and instruments that make up the plant.
