a successful general manager

must have

- bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, logistics, or a related field.
- proven experience as a general manager, managing director, operations manager, or equivalent executive role with full p&l; responsibility.




- experience within transportation, freight, logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
- experience leading medium-sized to large organizations with multiple functional business units.
- strong financial expertise, including financial statement analysis, cash flow management, profitability analysis, and working capital management.
- demonstrated success in improving business performance, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- experience establishing and managing business kpis and performance dashboards.
- ability to communicate effectively with shareholders, boards, and executive leadership teams.
- strong strategic planning and business management capabilities.
- advanced english proficiency.

preferred

- knowledge of domestic and cross-border operations.
- familiarity with industry certifications such as ctpat, oea, iso, or similar standards.
- mba or other postgraduate business education.
