**Application Engineer**
**As an Application Engineer**you will**:
- Select the appropriate G&W; product to meet these requirements
- Develop accurate cost models for both standard and custom equipment
- Determine price levels and lead times
- Partner with customers and our Engineering team to develop custom solutions that satisfy their needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our internal resources and Sales Team
- Provide timely and effective verbal and written communication to our internal resources and Sales Team
- Communicate these requirements to G&W;'s internal teams for engineering and manufacturing
**We are looking for someone who**:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering - A concentration in Power Engineering is highly desired
- Has strong computer proficiency
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills
- Ideally has experience with switchgear, reclosers, SF6 insulated and dielectric insulated switches.
- Customer service
Experience in presenting quotes and profit margins.
Experience in ERP (Oracle is a plus)
