Overview

We are seeking a Shopfloor Support Engineer to provide onsite operational and technical support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and related shopfloor applications within a manufacturing environment.

This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted production operations by supporting end users, resolving system issues, coordinating with application support teams, and assisting with deployments, validations, and continuous system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-level onsite support for MES and shopfloor applications.
- Monitor production systems and proactively identify operational issues.
- Respond to production incidents within agreed SLA timelines.
- Troubleshoot application, configuration, and user-related issues.
- Escalate complex incidents to L2/L3 support teams with complete diagnostic information.




- Track incidents through closure and provide timely status updates.
- Support manufacturing users during production hours and act as the primary point of contact for operational system issues.
- Assist with system deployments, upgrades, testing, and validation activities.
- Maintain high system availability and support continuous manufacturing operations.

Requirements

- Experience supporting MES, manufacturing systems, or shopfloor applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Experience working in manufacturing or production environments.
- Ability to analyze application, configuration, and user-related issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience coordinating with technical support, infrastructure, and application teams.
- Understanding of production operations and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work onsite and support critical production environments.
