About Our Client
Our client is a sizeable player in the Versátil Packaging Industry.
As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing plant operations and driving organizational performance. In this role, you will:
- Lead and coordinate Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality & Food Safety, and Warehouse operations.
- Ensure production plans are executed efficiently while meeting quality, safety, and cost objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, productivity enhancement, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and improve key operational KPIs, including production output, manufacturing costs, scrap reduction, and service levels.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing, TPM, process standardization, and operational discipline across the plant.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, GMP, and company safety standards.
- Support inventory optimization and warehouse management to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary management teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Act as the primary operational authority within the plant and support strategic business initiatives alongside senior leadership.
The Successful Applicant
Role
As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing plant operations and driving organizational performance. The succesfull candidate will:
- Bring at least 5 years of experience as an Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Manufacturing Manager, or similar leadership role within industrial operations.
- Demonstrate proven experience managing Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, and/or Warehouse functions.
- Possess a strong track record of reducing waste, scrap, rework, and manufacturing costs while improving productivity.
- Apply deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, continuous improvement methodologies, and process optimization.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Have experience managing operational KPIs, production efficiency, and plant performance metrics.
- Possess knowledge of quality and food safety management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and GMP standards.
- Be comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams and aligning departments toward common business objectives.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
