A successful Quality Assurance Automation Engineer helps ensure that our financial solutions deliver quality, stability and reliability in every release. In this role, you will actively participate in both manual and automated testing process to validate critical products and enhance the customer experience. We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional who can work effectively within cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvements in quality assurance practices.

In this role, you will actively participate in both manual and automated testing processes to validate critical products and enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities

- Execute manual testing on company products, to verify functionality, quality and compliance with business requirements.
- Execute automated tests using Java, JUnit, Cucumber and Selenium to ensure product stability and functional coverage.
- Support technical teams in designing and implementing testing strategies for microservices and REST APIs using RestAssured.
- Design and develop test data manually or through Excel and DB2 database queries.
- Collaborate with Development, QA and Business stakeholders to define test plans, test cases and data requirements.
- Identify, document and track software defects, assisting in root cause analysis and resolution efforts.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation for test plans, test cases and test results.




- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance practices within dynamic and collaborative environments.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance or similar roles involving functional and non-functional testing.
- 4+ years of experience in test automation using Java, JUnit, Cucumber and Selenium.
- 3+ years of experience testing microservices and REST APIs using tools such as RestAssured.
- 3+ years of experience in database testing, DB2 queries and test data design.
- 3+ years of experience collaborating in cross-functional teams using both English and Spanish.
- Advanced English proficiency.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of experience working with Agile or Scrum software development environments.
- 3+ years of experience with testing frameworks such as testing and additional automation tools.
- 3+ years of experience using version control systems, preferably GitHub.
- 2+ years of experience in financial institutions or technology providers serving the financial services industry.
