Main Responsibilities
TheProjectDevelopmentDirectorwillbeleadingthedevelopmentoftheAltamiraContainerTerminal,incloseliaisonwiththeCTOandtheHQteamsinGeneva.




TheProjectDevelopmentDirectorwillbechargedwithoverseeingtheentireinfrastructuredevelopment,comprisingconceptualstudies,interfaceswiththebusinessplans,environmentalpermitting,engineering,tenderingandconstructionfollow-upintostart-upofoperations,basedoutofourofficesinAarhus.

TheProjectDevelopmentDirectorwillsteerandcoordinatetheactivitiesofmulti-disciplinaryprojectteamsinchargeofconstruction(civilworks,buildings,electricalinfrastructure,dredging),electricalgridconnection,socialandenvironmentalactionplans,etc.toensurethefacilityisdeliveredintime,withinbudgetandtotherequirementsoftheproject’sshareholdersanditsfinancialinstitutions.
Themainresponsibilitieswillinclude:
Managetheprojectimplementationincloseliaisonwiththecompany’sdepartmentmanagersandthesupportingdepartmentsintheholdingcompany;
Ensuretheprojectscheduleandmilestonesarebeingadheredtoandtheprojectisrealizedwithinscheduleandkeystakeholdersengagedandaretimelyupdatedonprogress;
Coordinateallprojectresourcesaccordingtotheplan;
Activelyidentifyprojectrisks,manageandmitigateprojectriskproactively;
Ensureproperandnecessaryinputfromfunctionalexperts(internalaswellasexternal)isobtainedwheneverrequired,thiswithregardtodesign,construction,legalandenvironmentalrequirements,operationalpermitsetc.throughouttheprojectcyclefromdesignthroughconstructionintostart-upofoperations;
Facilitateintegrationofcompletionofcivilworkswithoperationalandcommercialreadiness;




Prepareandupdateprojectdocumentation,aswellascorporatereportsandpresentationsasrequired,includingvariousreportingtowardstheproject’slenders;
Ensurebusinessplanandbudgetaretimelyup-dated.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Skill:
Requiredskills&experiences;:

Youhaveatleast15yearsofexperienceinthemanagementofcomplexinfrastructuredevelopmentprojectsinDenmark.Preferablyalargepartofthisexperienceisgainedwitheitheramajorcivilengineeringcontractororasaprojectdeveloperonlargeinfrastructureprojects.
Youareasolid,stress-resistantprofessional,arealteamplayerandconvincingcommunicator.Youhaveprovenleadershipcapabilitiesandyoucaneasilynavigateandinfluencemultidisciplinarystakeholders
Youareateaseincontractnegotiationandincommunicationwithimportantinternalandexternalstakeholders.Youaregoodatdealingwithcustomers,contractorsandgovernmentofficialsandyouhavestrongpresentationandinfluencingskills.
Youhaveexperienceinmanagingavarietyofcontractorsandworkpackages.EPCexperienceandthemanagementofdesignengineeringisadefiniteasset.
Youknowhowtocoordinatetasksandresources.Youaregoodatperformingrigorousplanningandatassessingprojectrisks.Youareknowntotakeinitiativeandcorrectiveactionwheneverrequired.
Youhaveaffinitywithprojectcontrolsandthemanagementproceduresnecessarytoensureprojectsarecompletedtotherequiredspecificationswithinbudget.
Youhaveanentrepreneurialspiritandarecapabletomatchtechnicalexpertisewithcommercialbusinesssense.
