The S&OP; Engineer ensures the maximum profitability by leveling sales and production volumes in order to fulfill all the sales orders with the minimum inventory required based on smart, practical and effective processes and controls.Key responsibilities:1.
Promote the creation of sales forecasts among the sales department using all the information available.2.
Create and update the production and packing plans considering available inventories, sales forecast, plant capacity and dispatch dates.3.
Balance and monitor the inventories finish goods, off grade and scrap to ensure their turnover.4.




Coordinate with the plant managers scheduled shutdowns based on the external factors (raw material shortage, transport unavailability, high finished goods stocks, etc.) to avoid that sales orders dispatch be under risk.5.
Create priority deliveries plan whenever is needed.Requirements:Academic Level:o Minimum schooling: Graduated in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical) or Business Administration.O Desirable area of study: Titulado en Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical EngineeringØ Language(s) and level of proficiency: English AdvancedSpanish- NativoØ Knowledge/Experience:§ Production§ Logistics§ Procurement§ Customer Service
