About the Role:
As a Senior StaffAccountant at the company North America, you will play a key role in ensuring the
accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our ?nancialoperations. This positionrequires a proactive and independent professional who can take full ownership of accounting processes, ?nancial
reporting, and audit preparation. You'll collaborate with the Finance team to drive transparency, e?ciency, and accountability across all ?nancial activities.
As a SeniorStaff Accountant at the company in North America,you will:
- Lead Financial Operations: Independently manage the preparation of the company's full ?nancialstatements — P&L,balance sheet, and cash ?ow — from start to ?nish.
- Ensure Compliance: Conduct and oversee both internal and external audits, maintaining compliance across all applicable jurisdictions.
- Drive Accuracy:
Lead internalcontrol evaluations and ensure that ?nancial procedures align with company policy and accepted accounting standards.
- Manage Core Accounting Functions: Maintain general ledgeraccuracy, prepare and post monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals, and reconcile all key accounts
including intercompany and bank reconciliations.
- Support Tax and Regulatory Filings: Prepare and ?le salesand use tax returns, business tax reports, and support compliance with multi-jurisdictional tax
requirements.
- Collaborate Across Departments: Partner with the Finance and Accounting Managers to provide insights, analysis, and recommendations that drive informed ?nancial decisions.
- Mentor and In?uence: Whilenot a direct supervisory role,you'll serve as a senior member of the accounting team—guiding and in?uencing peers through best
practices and expertise.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Minimum ?ve (5) years of total accounting experience, including at least two (2) years in a Staff Accountant role.
Technical Expertise:
- Proven ability to prepare and analyze all three ?nancial statements.
- Experience reviewing trialbalances from startto ?nish.
- Familiarity with tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Pro?ciency with ERP accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excelskills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently maintain ?nancial procedures, records, and controls.
- Prepare accurate and timely ?nancialreports for management review.
- Lead audit preparation and respond to audit inquiries.
- Conduct variance analyses and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies.
- Support process improvements to enhance ?nancial e?ciency.
