JOB SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of satisfactory technical support for Sales, Production and Quality. This person will lead process development, production optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across our manufacturing operations. This role combines technical expertise, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to improve product quality, efficiency, safety, and cost performance. This role operates across multiple business units.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Education: Degree in Bachelor of Science,Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or Equivalent.

· Advanced English

· Experience: 5+ years' engineering experience in a manufacturing environment with mechanical engineering design exposure. Experience with precision laser and TIG welding preferred. Understanding of punch press manufacturing using progressive die sets an advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be the technical resource for Manual and Automated Equipment, including mechanical press technology, Helium Leak Testing Systems, Laser Marking Equipment, TIG Welding, Laser Cutting, Press Brake Equipment, Temperature Testing Equipment, Spray Paint Systems, Urethane Foam Systems, CNC and other machining systems.
- Develop and implement new and existing techniques and procedures to improve productivity while following Management of Change protocols.
- Oversee training of fabricators to ensure Manufacturing Specifications and Critical to Quality documentation are understood and followed.
- Provide technical support to Production and Quality, including technical analysis,



testing of new or modified designs and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
- Prepare and conduct Test and Evaluation Programs to support Product Development, Prototype Evaluation, and Process Validation.
- Utilize internal and external resources to optimize machine performance, product quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Implement fixturing and propose automation and advanced manufacturing technologies where appropriate.
- Track KPIs and drive improvements in on-time delivery, yield, production cycle times, and scrap reduction.
- Support the specification of procurement, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and procedures.
- Drive and maintain preventive maintenance, reliability initiatives, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
- Support root cause analysis of defects and non-conformances with Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales.
- Develop engineering-level supplier relationships and collaborate with integral BU Engineering teams.
- Support product and facility certifications.
- Ensure compliance with Company ISO, ATEX, NFPA, ASME, and CE procedures.
- Ad-hoc project and administrative duties as assigned by Manager
- Liaise with Design Engineering personnel from the aforementioned BUs in other plant locations for support and guidance when necessary
- Assist with RMT evaluations and corrective actions for products manufactured in Monterrey.
- Routine preparation for and participation in monthly Operations meetings
