Job Description

We are seeking a Windows Support Engineer with hands on experience in technical support and troubleshooting of computer equipment and control systems. This role is focused on ensuring the continuous operation of industrial or control equipment through diagnostics, automation, and maintenance in Windows environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot Windows-based computer systems and control equipment.
- Schedule and manage automated tasks using Windows Task Scheduler.
- Create, modify, and execute Batch (.BAT) and PowerShell scripts to automate operational processes.
- Monitor, review, and analyze Windows event logs, application logs, and system logs to identify and resolve incidents.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on control equipment.
- Install, configure, and support Windows applications and services.




- Identify root causes of system failures and implement corrective actions.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting activities, and implemented solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure system reliability and business continuity.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience providing technical support for computer systems or industrial control equipment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Experience managing Windows Task Scheduler.
- Experience creating or modifying Batch (.BAT) scripts; PowerShell scripting experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Windows Event Viewer, log analysis, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proven experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, IP addressing).
- Experience with industrial automation systems such as PLC, HMI, and SCADA is highly desirable.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

What We Offer

- Monthly gross salary: MXN $25,000 – $30,000, based on experience and qualifications (monthly payroll).
