Paralegal – Litigation – Remote (Bilingual English/Spanish)$30,000 -$35,000 MXN per monthFull-time & part-time availableRemote, U.S.-based Law FirmIncludes training and long-term growth opportunitiesSUMMARY:-----We're hiring a Remote Paralegal who speaks both English and Spanish to support attorneys at a busy U.S. law firm.
You'll work on Personal Injury, Employment, Criminal or Family Law cases.
This is a full-time, work-from-home position for someone with strong legal experience, especially in California litigation.Your job will include helping manage cases, talking with clients, preparing legal documents, and supporting attorneys with research and day-to-day tasks.
You'll also help translate and interpret between English and Spanish when needed.RESPONSIBILITIES:-----Case ManagementHelp attorneys manage case filesTrack case activities, deadlines, and client notesSupport personal injury, employment, or family law casesLegal Document PreparationDraft and edit documents like letters, pleadings, discovery, and motionsMake sure documents follow California law and are filed on timeClient CommunicationBe a main contact for clients—give updates, answer questionsHelp with client interviews and collecting needed paperworkLegal ResearchResearch California laws for personal injury, employment, criminal or family lawShare research summaries to support case planningDocument ManagementOrganize case files (digital and physical)Prepare exhibits, evidence,
and case materials for court or depositionsAdministrative SupportHelp attorneys with calendars, meetings, and court datesAssist with billing, time tracking, and schedulingTranslation & Bilingual SupportTranslate legal documents (English ↔ Spanish)Help with client meetings, depositions, and interviews when interpretation is neededQUALIFICATIONS:-----A degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related fieldOr a paralegal certificate from an approved school2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal for a U.S. law firm requiredPreferred: experience in California cases (PI, employment, criminal or family law)Speak English at a B2 level or higher, with strong writing and speaking skillsExperience using Clio, MyCase, and other case management toolsStrong understanding of California legal proceduresGreat at staying organized, meeting deadlines, and handling private infoWFH REQUIREMENTS:-----Fluent in English (spoken and written)Quiet, professional home workspaceReliable internet (10MBPS or faster) + backup optionReliable power + backup (battery or generator)Computer with at least: Intel i3 (8th Gen), 8GB RAM, SSDWilling to work U.S. business hours schedule-----You should be detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working directly with attorneys and clients.
