We are looking for a highly motivated and service-oriented Bilingual Activation Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our merchants have a successful start by guiding them step-by-step through the activation and setup of their Clover and PayAnywhere payment devices.

The adecuado candidate is a bilingual (English/Spanish) individual with excellent communication skills, tech-savviness, and a proven background in customer support, preferably within the payments industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Activation: Guide merchants through the activation and setup of Clover and PayAnywhere devices via phone.
- Bilingual Support: Provide clear and professional support in both Spanish and English.
- Technical Resolution: Troubleshoot basic device issues and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Onboarding Experience: Ensure a smooth onboarding experience by addressing merchant questions and concerns in a timely and friendly manner.
- Documentation: Accurately document interactions and activation steps in our CRM system.
- Task Management: Prioritize daily tasks to manage multiple activations and follow-ups efficiently.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalations or complex issues.
- Customer Satisfaction:
Deliver high-quality customer service with attention to detail and a focus on merchant satisfaction.
Requirements
- Language: Bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written) - English C1 level required.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience in customer service, technical support, or onboarding roles.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable working with payment terminals and mobile applications (tech-savvy). Experience with Clover and/or PayAnywhere platforms is highly desirable.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical steps clearly and patiently over the phone.
- Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Equipment & Connection: Must have own computer, headset, and webcam. Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
- Mindset: Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and a team player. Ability to work independently.
- Preferences: Familiarity with CRM tools and previous experience in the payments, fintech, or merchant services industry is a plus.
