Walmart EBS Latam is seeking a Sr. Manager – Process Owner EAM (Fixed Assets & Leases) to join our Record to Report (R2R) team. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing all accounting processes related to Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), including fixed assets and lease accounting, ensuring the accurate and compliant treatment of asset transactions in the company’s general ledger.
The Sr. Manager will act as a strategic liaison between Real Estate, CapEx, Market teams, and Shared Services, while leading a team of Senior Analysts Process Owners, driving operational excellence, robust controls, and continuous improvement initiatives within the R2R function.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all EAM accounting processes, including asset capitalization, depreciation, transfers, impairments, disposals, and lease accounting activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and accurate reflection in the general ledger.
Serve as the subject matter expert on fixed assets and lease accounting,



providing guidance on complex transactions and ensuring alignment with corporate accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP).
Coordinate with Real Estate, CapEx, Market Finance, and Shared Services teams to resolve discrepancies, optimize transaction flows, and support business growth and investment decisions.
Monitor and measure process performance through KPIs, identifying and addressing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and operational risks.
Lead initiatives for process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement, including the integration of new assets, business models, and lease arrangements into R2R processes.
Maintain up-to-date process documentation, SOPs, and user guides for EAM-related accounting activities.
Support process migrations, system implementations, controls, and regulatory compliance related to fixed assets and lease accounting.
Develop and deliver training materials to ensure proper adoption and compliance
