Product Compliance EngineerLocation: Mexico City, Other, Mexico, ******In our 'always on' world, we believe it's essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do.The Product Compliance Engineer will work closely with various departments (Product Line Management, Development Engineering, Component Engineering, Legal, and Quality) and with external suppliers.The Product Compliance Engineer manages the regulatory intelligence gathering process and coordinates the assessment of the product's impact and compliance status to new or changes in integral product-related regulations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for Tracking global product compliance legislation and requirements using industry forums, webinars, external software, and other formats to collect regulatory intelligence dataResponsible for maintaining product compliance data management workflow ensuring compliance with relevant product regulationsResponsible for informing within Ruckus key functions, Component Engineering, Product Line Management, and development Engineering team, as appropriate, on new and changing regulationsResponsible for escalating issues to the Business Units Management team as necessaryResponsible for leading and executing small to medium projects in the product compliance area.Contribute to the improvement of departmental processes and operating procedures.Participate in the review, approval, training,



and release of policies, procedures, and work instructions related to the design and production of compliant products and assemblies.Responsible for working with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance of all products and requirements.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Project management or equivalent work experience3 – 7 years of related experience with compliance or materials is essentialExperience in the management of regulatory compliance for electronic equipment is requiredKnowledge of regulations and industry requirements related to global product compliance requirements (RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Safety, Wireless, EMC, Energy Efficiency, and other agencies approvals) is requiredWe are excited if you have:Collaborative and demonstrated ability to work in a team-based culture throughout a global organizationMust be comfortable working independently and as part of a teamAbility to clearly communicate ideas to a teamGood written and verbal communication skills to clearly explain complicated regulationsGood knowledge of English (business advanced)Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.Knowledge of SAP and SharePoint would be an advantage.Vistance Networks is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO), including people with disabilities and veterans.
