Senior Accountant
Position Purpose
Process merch invoices (3WM), inventory weekly payment, service level authorizations maintenance, closing period reconciliations and journals.
Primary Accountabilities
- Review the merch invoices after the 3WM process to analyze discrepancies and process the debit memos respectively.
- Monthly review and followup for overpayments and overages and prepare information for Vendor Risk Assessment.
- Collaborate to prepare and consolidate the information for Scorecard's KPIs.
- Create the journals regarding the closing monthly process as well as reconcile the assigned GL accounts.
- Prepare information for internal and external audits.




- Work on the development for improvements and projects in Accounts Payable department.
Education & Experience
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Accounting - Administration
Years of Experience: Three to five years.
Type of Experience: Accounts Payables experience with preference in shared service centers and retail industry.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: ERP experience, advance english and computer skills
Other/Preferred: Experience in a multinational environment, customer focus, proactivity, teamwork
