responsibilities:
· support mtc for mro aircraft by coordinating the procurement, movement, and tracking of aircraft parts and materials.
· ensure timely resolution of material shortages through effective planning and coordination.
· maintain accurate procurement, inventory, and material status updates within sap.
· communicate effectively with u.s.-based teams, distribution warehouses, line stations, mro facilities, and external suppliers.
· manage site-level material shortage activities, including reconciliation and meeting required turnaround deadlines.
· source aircraft parts by ordering from available stock, recalling station spares, checking mro master inventory, and procuring from oems or approved surplus vendors.
· oversee the parts rta process, over cap approvals, aog (aircraft on ground) drop-ship activities, and all repair order board (rob) actions.
· initiate, capture, and submit rob transactions through the rob tool.
· update material shortage notifications (msns) with current status and coordinate with mro teams to close shortages upon receipt of materials.
· procure aircraft parts and create msns when inventory is unavailable.
· process removal/install transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
· order materials from distribution warehouses and external suppliers in accordance with service recovery standard operating procedures (sops).
· manage returns of unused inventory ("06 material") and resolve discrepancies identified in in transit and stationary tracking reports.
· utilize aircraft technical documentation, including ipc, cmm, er/a, engineering drawings, and service bulletins, to identify alternate part solutions.
· validate effectivity, alternate manufacturer part numbers (mpns), and review faa form 8130 airworthiness tags.
· receive and stage aa kits, prepull (fk1), and nonroutine (fk2) inventory.
· support the development of standard operating procedures (sops), training documentation, and quality audits.
· coordinate daily with service recovery, aso, material planning, and component shop support teams.
· participate in daily production meetings to identify material constraints and recommend solutions to minimize aircraft turnaround time (tat).
· ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies while maintaining accurate documentation.
· demonstrate strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced aircraft maintenance environment.
