**About the Role**
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing cross-border finance team.
This position supports our U.S.based accounting operations, focusing on accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and month-end close.

- You must live within one hour of Mexico City.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.

- While this is primarily a remote role, occasional in-person meetings in Mexico City are required.
- The published pay rate represents _gross monthly compensation_.
**What You'll Do**
- Process vendor invoices and prepare payment runs (AP).
- Create and send invoices to U.S. clients; track collections (AR).
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Record journal entries and assist with month-end close.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready financial records.
- Support U.S.based finance team with ad hoc reports.
- Handle light administrative duties (mail, receipts, vendor forms).
**What We're Looking For**




- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience (preferably international or U.S. company).
- Strong skills in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Fluent English communication skills — written and verbal.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Must reside within one hour of Mexico City.
**Nice-to-Have**
- Familiarity with Trello, ClickUp, or Notion.
- Experience supporting a U.S.based finance team.
