**_Essential Duties and Responsibilities_**
1. Perform and document test processes.
2. Execute functional testing related to communication protocols in SEL relays.
3. Improve the performance and efficiency of the testing area by continuously identifying, measuring, improving, and analyzing well-defined processes.
4. Understand, create, simplify processes.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications_**
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
5 years of experience.
Sound knowledge of electric power systems and control.
Sound knowledge to execute functional testing in SEL devices related to communication protocols such as: DNP3, Modbus, PRP, PTP, IEC-***** standard (GOOSE, MMS, SV).




Sound knowledge in troubleshooting serial and ethernet communication protocols.
Familiarity with scripting languages.
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills (English).
Ability to work effectively and professionally with internal customers.
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
Negative drug test result(s).
