The Data Engineer executes the work of implementing the technical solutions in the data lake as defined by the Data Analyst and validated by the Data Architect.
The focus is on the technical configuration aspects including data ingestion and integration frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Executes and supports the technical solutions implemented in the data lake as defined by the Data Analyst and validated by the Data Architect.
Build new or enhance existing data pipelines for optimal extraction, transformation, and load from various data sources, using different languages and technologies.
Focus on the technical configuration aspects in the data lake, including data ingestion and integration frameworks.
Collaborate with data owners and stewards.
Ensure pipelines comply with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
Build pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform structured, semi‐structured and unstructured data (text, images, PDF) to support Power BI reporting needs.
Conduct data profiling, validation, and anomaly detection to identify quality issues early in the lifecycle.
Qualifications
6 years of experience as a Data Engineer,



including ETL/ELT workflow design, configuration, data mapping, extraction, transformation and loading, and writing and maintaining code.
High‐level understanding of data warehousing principles and business intelligence.
Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark/PySpark.
Proficiency with complex SQL development.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
