If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.Job SummaryThe Integral Category Manager – Mechanical Assembly is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies for mechanical assemblies supporting Eaton Mobility Group (MG) and Eaton Cummins Joint Venture (ECJV) programs.
The role ensures continuity of supply, cost competitiveness, quality performance, and compliance with Eaton procurement policies while supporting both OEM and aftermarket business requirements.Job ResponsibilitiesOwn global category strategy for mechanical assemblies.Lead supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, and contracting in alignment with Eaton sourcing policies.Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and risk metrics.Ensure continuity of supply for Mobility manufacturing plants and aftermarket demand.Manage Key Metrics: Cost out, resiliency, working capital improvement, and SPIRs.Tariff Management.Collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and finance teams on sourcing decisions.Support customer requirements related to regional content, compliance, and localization strategies.Manage supplier risks, capacity planning,



and escalation in case of supply disruptions.Support ECJV spend and aftermarket sourcing needs in addition to core Mobility programs.QualificationsEducation Level RequiredBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.Bilingual English - Spanish.Years and Area of Experience RequiredMinimum 6 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.Experience with automotive or industrial manufacturing supply chains preferred.Technical KnowledgeGlobal sourcing and category management methodologies.RFQ and contract negotiation.Cost breakdown and productivity analysis.Supplier quality and risk management.Understanding of mechanical and electronic components (casting, machining, PCBA).
