DESCRIPTION:
Join our Supply Chain team as a Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll contribute to optimizing production schedules and inventory management to support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role,



you'll develop and maintain production plans that balance customer demand with manufacturing capacity, while ensuring efficiency and resource utilization. You'll work collaboratively with Planning, Operations, Quality, Procurement and Project Management teams to support schedule stability and continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires analytical skills and strategic thinking to optimize complex manufacturing processes while maintaining high service levels and managing inventory targets.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling in a production environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP) preferred
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong understanding of MRP
