, reporting toTrade ManagerIn charge for General Trade Compliance activities including trainings, upholding policies, regulatory tracking and ensuring that industry best practices are implemented in conjunction with established Flex compliance procedures.What a typical day looks like:- Basic comprehension of import/export laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Holds up for development and delivery of Trade Compliance policy framework, procedures and process.
- Deliver specific training programs as required by manager.
- Participate in projects which drive strategies and initiatives at the regional and site level to deliver Global Trade Cost Savings initiatives.
- Conduct effective transactional review and audit of all imports/export records.Consolidate, researches and evaluates issues and provide recommendations of correction.
- Partner and manage integration of new business or mergers and acquisitions.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external partners including operations, purchasing, logistics, material planning, transportation vendors, etc.- Assist with investigations and assessments,



help track and deliver corrective actions to address findings and recommendations and ensure timely completion.
- Administer audit/assessment results.
- Make use of IT Solutions and communication platforms to holds up Trade Compliance programs.The experience we're looking to add to our team:- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
- Good communication skills and excellent relational skills.
- Demonstrates operations and technical skills and comprehension of Flex's functional standards.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of functional concepts and a solid comprehension of Flex policies and procedures.
- Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.
- Use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: telephones, data entry, Finance related and office software to include, word processing, spread sheets, and presentation packages.
