Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesThe Digitalization Engineer is responsible for driving the implementation of projects related to the plant's digital transformation in order to improve operational performance in alignment with the Group, Business Group (BG), and FMC Division strategy.This is achieved through teamwork, continuous improvement, and employee development within the framework of the Forvia Excellence System (FES4.0) and the Being Faurecia culture.The role also promotes environmental stewardship in accordance with ISO***** and customer requirements in compliance with the IATF standard.Drive the digital roadmap (including priorities, timelines, CAPEX, costs, and savings commitments included in the budget).
Ensure that resources are allocated as needed for digitalization and automation projects.Lead and support champions in the implementation and continuous improvement of standards defined by the BG and FMC Division.Define training needs for the proper implementation of digital tools and coordinate training activities with the manager of each area as appropriate.Monitor implementation progress and operational performance (roadmap compliance, P&L; impact, and plant performance indicators according to plant priorities).
Share best practices and ensure the management of requests for the resources required to acquire equipment (CAD).
Ensure compliance with the requirements of the implemented management systems, including IATF*****, ISO*****, and C‐TPAT, with a focus on Quality.Develop and implement the Model Plant Digitalization Project, including systems such as DMC, NEO, PREACTOR, MLEAN, ANDON, and Palantir.Monitor key indicators related to the digitalization process (digitalization rate %) in collaboration with the Group or Division to ensure target achievement.Configure equipment for the implementation of DMC,
NEO, and MLEAN systems.These responsibilities are illustrative and not limiting, and do not restrict the performance of other activities that may be required.Your profile and competencies to succeedQualificationsMinimum Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in the industry.Advanced English proficiency.Knowledge of control equipment and systems (programming, PLCs, etc.).
Experience using Lean Manufacturing tools.Basic knowledge of Pull Systems and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
