Role DescriptionThis full‐time, on‐site Spanish Elementary School Teacher role is based at Instituto Anglo Británico in Monterrey, NLE.The teacher will plan and deliver engaging Spanish‐language lessons aligned with grade‐level standards, fostering language acquisition, literacy, and cultural awareness in elementary‐age students.Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, managing the classroom environment, assessing student progress, and providing regular feedback to students and families.The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum alignment, participate in school meetings and professional development, and contribute to school activities and events.The role also involves maintaining accurate records, adhering to school policies, and creating an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere for all students.QualificationsDemonstrated skills in Teaching and Elementary Education, with experience working with young learners in a classroom setting.Proficiency in Curriculum Development and Education practices,



including designing IB structured, age‐appropriate lesson plans and learning activities.Strong Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, families, and colleagues in Spanish; English proficiency is an advantage.Bachelor's degree in Education, Elementary Education, Spanish Language, or a related field; teaching certification or license preferred.Proven ability to create an inclusive, student‐centered environment that supports diverse learning needs and promotes positive behavior.Organizational and classroom management skills, including lesson planning, assessment, and documentation of student progress.Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and collaborate in a team‐oriented school culture.Prior experience teaching Spanish at the elementary level in a school setting is highly beneficial.IB teaching experience is highly valued.
