Our client is a company that serves over 100 million fans across 200+ countries online and in-person, streaming video, games, and events. The client is seeking a Software Engineer on the game console team to contribute and develop a web-based app targeting all popular consoles.
Responsibilities:
Own key features and improvements, ensuring high-quality code and optimal performance
Collaborate closely with
Engineering, Program Management, Product, and QA teams
worldwide to shape the technology roadmap
Deliver impactful results that align with business and product goals
Contribute as part of an international team of 100+ client engineers




Directly support the mission to remain the premier destination for anime streaming

Focus Areas
Core expertise in
JavaScript / TypeScript
Web application optimization with emphasis on performance, scalability, and user experience
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience with
JavaScript/TypeScript
Proven track record delivering large-scale, consumer-facing web applications
Strong background in
performance tuning
and
scalable design
Ability to
identify bottlenecks
and implement
effective architectural improvements
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience building applications for console or smart
TV platforms
(PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, HbbTV)
Familiarity with
React
or other modern frontend frameworks
History of partnering with senior engineers and leadership to drive technical roadmaps
Experience
balancing trade-offs
between performance and user experience
Previous involvement in
streaming
or
media platform
projects
