JCIM, the Mexican subsidiary of JCI Advanced Technology, is hiring a full-time Commercial Operations & Logistics Specialist to join our team at the Ramos Arizpe plant.This dynamic role offers an entrepreneurial pathway: you will begin your first 90 days traveling directly to customer sites to spearhead crucial market studies and field marketing for our new specialty product ideas, before pivoting into full ownership of our Mexican and cross-border logistics infrastructure at the plant.What you'll do:Travel to customers in Mexico to conduct initial market studies and field research.Map and scale a world-class import/export process prioritizing customer service and raw material flows.Navigate and streamline complex,



non-linear supply chain and customs workflows across land and sea modalities.Optimize logistics costs by managing and vetting end-to-end freight providers.Standardize internal workflows (SAP tracking, customer quoting tools) to build a scalable framework capable of expanding into regions like Panama.What we are looking for:3–5+ years in logistics, international trade, or commercial operations within Mexico (specialty chemical background is a massive plus).
Flexibility to travel frequently to customer sites during the first 2–3 months.Expert-level understanding of Incoterms, land/sea shipping variables, logistics and broker management.High numerical acumen—advanced Excel and SAP comfort are highly desirable.Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.
