Job Summary:
Manage the Order-to-Invoice process according to CP best practices (Essentials) and collaborate with local CDTs to effectively support order-to-invoice fulfillment. Responsible for the comprehensive management of customer service for assigned accounts: manage and, when necessary, execute all aspects of the order-to invoice cycle, while cultivating effective relationships with both customers and CP colleagues. Responsible for the efficient management of orders and oversight of all aspects of the customer service process to ensure on-time deliveries to customers. Manage the customer service relationship, acting as the primary point of contact for order and delivery-related communications. Most customers will be internal, primarily from the CDO team, requiring excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage the Order-to-Invoice process according to CP's Best Practices ("Essentials").
Develop effective internal communication and relationships with customers to facilitate efficient execution of the Order-to-Invoice process.
Collaborate with local Customer Development Teams (CDTs) and the Logistics department to investigate and resolve order management and delivery issues.
Report delivery and distribution issues to the Logistics department for follow-up and corrective action. Communicate any special internal customer requirements to Logistics.
Support and enforce all sales policies (terms and conditions) with customers.
Analyze and collaborate with local Customer Service Centers (CSCs) to determine appropriate measures to resolve issues related to customer returns and rejections. Monitor the Logistics department's handling of returns and rejections.
Collaborate with local CSCs and the Logistics department to eliminate supply chain inefficiencies and reduce costs in the order-to-invoice process (e.g., implementing direct shipments to the plant, improving pallet layer shipping efficiency, eliminating out-of-territory shipments, consolidating orders, etc.).
Utilize SAP order processing and fulfillment applications to efficiently manage and execute the order-to-invoice process, minimizing manual intervention.
Responsible for analyzing and reporting on CS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and taking corrective action when necessary to improve service or identify supply chain issues.
Operate within Customer Service guidelines and distribution networks to optimize service and delivery costs.
Prepare regular (weekly and monthly) updates on customer service and service costs for distribution to local and divisional CDTs, as well as CS&L; management.
Qualifications Range:
Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration).
6 months to 2 year of experience in Customer Service/Order Fulfillment, Planning, Sales, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
Languages: English Intermediate/advanced
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with SAP and APO.
Advanced Excel skills.
