Job Description:
HMD Trucking Inc. is looking for a Safety Assistant who wants to contribute to a successful team that embraces innovation and be part of an industry leading organization that consistently sets new standards.
What You Will Be Doing:
Log Audit: Record review of hours for accuracy and completeness (Log checks with registered data, such as GPS, BOL, Fuel, Inspections, etc.)
Responding to the calls regarding the Log Issues
Permits
Responding to the Accident calls
Guiding the driver through all the necessary steps




Collecting all the data
Creating the accident report
Getting the accident videos from Netradyne
Locating the DOT certified clinic and sending the driver for post-accident drug and alcohol test if required
Coaching the Drivers for HOS
Experience and desired skills:
Proficient in spoken and written ENGLISH (must)
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work effectively both as a Team member and independently
Ability to follow instructions and deliver quality results
Past work experience that is relevant is a plus
