Staff Accountant/Contador General Bilingüe

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, driven General Accountant with 2+ years of accounting experience. The idóneo candidate will have strong organizational skills and high proficiency in English to communicate both written and occasionally verbally with US-based clients, vendors and colleagues.

Key Skills and Experience Required

- Reconcile vendor, bank, and credit card statements
- Process weekly check runs and manage vendor payments
- Calculate, file, and pay monthly and quarterly sales, use, and business taxes
- Add and code bank and credit card entries into GL software
- Enter daily sales data
- Attend client financial meetings
- Manage all aspects of the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, month-end and year-end close procedures, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Reconcile third-party sales, deposits,



and commissions
- Reconcile payroll clearing accounts and add payroll journal entries to GL software

Required Qualifications

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (restaurant accounting experience highly preferred)
- High English proficiency (both written and verbal)

Sueldo: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 al mes
