Position Overview

The Preschool English Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that foster children's language acquisition, curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth while supporting the mission and values of Marymount School.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for preschool students.
- Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Promote students' language development through play-based and hands-on learning experiences.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' development and achievements.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Foster a classroom culture based on respect, kindness, and inclusion.





Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, English Language Teaching, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in preschool or early childhood education.
- Native or near-native English proficiency (C1 level or higher preferred).
- Teaching certification and/or ESL certification is an advantage.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for working with young children in a collaborative school community.
