- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer releases and forecasts.- Analyze customer demand fluctuations and adjust production plans accordingly.- Balance production capacity with customer requirements while minimizing overtime and inventory.- Coordinate daily and weekly production schedules with Production Managers and Supervisors.- Review material availability with Purchasing and Material Planning teams.- Monitor production constraints and develop recovery plans when necessary.- Ensure production schedules support customer delivery requirements (JIT/JIS where applicable).- Lead weekly production planning meetings.- Analyze customer releases, EDI schedules, forecasts, and firm orders.- Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.- Coordinate Engineering Change implementation (ECN/ECR)



to minimize obsolete inventory.- Support new program launches by developing production ramp-up schedules.- Monitor production performance versus schedule attainment.- Generate capacity analysis and identify bottlenecks.- Develop contingency plans for supplier shortages or production disruptions.- Coordinate with Customer Service regarding delivery priorities.- Monitor production adherence and schedule compliance.- Support inventory reduction initiatives while maintaining customer service levels.- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to production planning.- Ensure compliance with customer delivery performance KPIs.- Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding production planning performance.

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Production Planning or Master Scheduling.- Experience in the Automotive Industry (Tier 1 preferred).- Experience with automotive sewing manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
