IT specialist Workplace Services

Responsibilities

- Monitor, install, maintain, and support local network, server, storage, and communications infrastructure to ensure stable access to local, regional, and global applications.
- Install, maintain, and operate IT infrastructure at local sites.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure and end-user hardware/software issues using standard diagnostic procedures.




- Collaborate with hardware and software vendors for acquisition, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Document all implemented solutions and maintain accurate technical records.
- Provide hands-on desktop support, including device deployment, diagnostics, and issue resolution.
- Support Microsoft technologies including Windows 11, Office 365, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Assist with ERP system support and future implementations.
- Maintain a clean and organized IT office and storage area.
- Participate in IT and business-related projects as required.
- Identify and implement opportunities for infrastructure optimization in collaboration with local, regional, and global teams.
- Create comprehensive reports for internal and management audiences.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer systems or a related field.
- Experience in: Clients, Servers and Network administration, Ticketing systems, Local infrastructure support, Prior experience in a manufacturing environment of similar size and complexity is a plus.
