Team Overview
The LATAM Strategy team supports TransUnion’s regional growth agenda by driving strategic planning, business analysis, market intelligence, and execution tracking across key initiatives. The team partners closely with Finance, Solutions, Technology, HR, and Operations to provide insights and recommendations that enable data-driven decision making and long-term value creation. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Support the annual strategic planning process by aligning regional strategic priorities, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and ensuring organizational capacity alignment.
- Drive the execution and tracking of LATAM strategic initiatives, establishing governance and follow-up plans to monitor progress and business impact.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and Run & Grow objectives, providing insights and recommendations to support performance improvement and decision making.
- Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and financial models to evaluate strategic investments, growth opportunities, and key business decisions.
- Conduct market research and competitive intelligence analysis to identify industry trends, market opportunities, and potential competitive responses.
- Perform macroeconomic analysis for Mexico and assess external factors that may influence business performance and strategic priorities.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and strategic materials for leadership, quarterly CEO reviews, and Board meetings, highlighting business performance and strategic outcomes.
- Build financial projections, including market sizing, revenue forecasts, P&L; scenarios, and investment requirements for new initiatives and projects.
- Support regional M&A; and investment activities through financial analysis,
strategic assessments, and development of decision-support materials.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to consolidate performance metrics, business plans, and strategic recommendations under tight deadlines.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, providing the analytical and financial foundation required to evaluate strategic opportunities and business performance.
- Proven experience within a top-tier Consulting firm, Investment Banking, or Private Equity environment, applying structured problem-solving and strategic analysis to complex business challenges.
- Strong knowledge of corporate strategy, financial modeling, business case development, and market analysis to support growth initiatives, investments, and strategic decision making.
- Experience conducting competitive intelligence, industry research, and macroeconomic analysis to identify trends, risks, and market opportunities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical findings to senior leadership and influence stakeholders through clear presentations and actionable recommendations.
