The Cloud Security Consultant role performs product installation, configuration, customization, automation, integration for our clients.
Responsibilities - Executing client engagements that exceed expectations based on a strong understanding of the client’s business and their unique needs by:
- Leading the requirements gathering process.
- Developing and implementing security software solutions and workflow plans aligned with client business and security objectives.
- Installing and/or configuring security software solutions.
- Development of custom reports, dashboards, alerts and scans to meet client business objectives.
- Analysis scan results and understanding the risk and threat levels of findings.
- Conducting security assessments and audits.
- Managing client expectations to enable their desired outcomes.
- Assisting clients with upgrades and migration to new hardware or software versions.
- Serve as technical architect or technical lead on internal operational support system re engineering projects or CRM design and deployment projects.
- Serve as instructor to train client staff on products usage and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal delivery methods and tools.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or computer field or related work experience equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in IT, security, risk management or professional services.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud environments like AWS, Azure and GCP.
- In-depth knowledge of technologies/concepts like: Containers, Images, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, IaC, SecOps, CI/CD, ShiftLeft, software composition analysis, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of the Vulnerability Management Lifecycle.
- Coding experience in Python or similar language. Use of APIs in code.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
- Understanding of security principles, policies, and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of ISO 27000 series, NIST SP800 series, CIS Controls, PCI.
- Experience with using, customizing, and developing open-source security tools.
