We are looking for a Functional Tester Key Responsibilities:

Proven experience in end-to-end functional testing, preferably with Retail domain experience

Lead and manage end-to-end functional testing efforts for software projects.

Lead a team of testers and SDETs to ensure progress on both functional testing and test automation.

Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and execute test cases.

Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment on testing requirements.

Implement best practices for software testing and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Collaborate with developers,



business analysts and product managers to resolve testing issues.

Good communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a team environment.

Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must have Skills:

Strong UI validation skills (cross-locale/device behavior)

Good understanding of Content Management System-driven content validation (e.g., Contentful or similar)

Ability to identify data/content inconsistencies (e.g., product data, content data, localization data)

Experience validating API responses (Postman or RestAssured)

Ability to correlate UI vs API vs backend data

Understanding of data flow and dependencies across systems

Awareness of microservices architecture

Familiarity with systems like AWS (logs, environments) and Kafka (event/data flow awareness) – mainly for debugging and tracing issues

Analyze test results, identify defects, perform RCA and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Steer defect triage, articulate defect with appropriate context and drive defect retest and closure
